We are offering an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to join our Commercial teams across the business as Graduate Quantity Surveyors. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Training in accurate measurement of all site works, for value recovery and cost reduction.

Continual development of knowledge and quantity surveying skills.

Learning how to accurately value sub-contract works, measure works for purposes of valuation and cross checking.

Assisting with recommending sub-contractor payments, learning the calculation and build up to figures, seeking authorisation and support as required.

Assisting with site meetings, taking appropriate notes, and gaining competence in completing these without support where appropriate.

Assisting with the agreement of subcontract final accounts.

Learning how to recover any losses.

Developing professional standards and relationships whilst enhancing the company’s reputation.

Ensuring high levels of internal and external communication.

Gradually gaining more responsibility to carry out tasks with guidance and support.
Requirements:

Minimum of 7 GCSE’s grading A-C (5-9) including English and Maths.

Minimum of 3 A level’s grading A-C.

Bachelor’s Degree grading 2.1 and above.

Full clean driving license.

The desire for a long-term career within Construction.

Driven.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Flexible and willing to learn.
