We offer Engineering advice around Infrastructure and Groundworks that can be adjusted in line with regulatory requirements to provide a more viable outcome. This can include altering the Designs of Roads, Drainage, and External Levels to cut costs to clients through reductions in materials, transport and time.
These also provide the added incentive of reducing carbon emissions. Value Engineering alterations are put forward to Clients at the Tendering Stage to allow time for the Design Engineers to make the changes required and, in some cases, has saved over £1m.

Commerical groundworks CASE STUDIES
Manna Farm
Our work at Manna Farm saw us complete foundations/external works and a complex foul water outlet as part of the creation of a 100 person community rehabilitation centre. Extensive Valued Engineering work oversaw the change of the discharge system into soakaways.
Barton Park
As part of our ongoing works with Vistry Homes Thames Valley at Barton Park, MVK were awarded the podium slab works to 3nr retail / apartment blocks. The works included the installation of 180t of steel reinforcement, 950m3 of concrete to form the first floor podium slab together with supporting columns.
