Our Trainee route is designed for those looking to kick-start their career in Engineering without prior experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, with the potential for sponsored study and fast career progression. You’ll receive full training on-site, gaining the knowledge and experience to become a fully qualified Engineer.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assisting with drawing document control and setting out on site.
- Supporting Engineers to ensure projects progress efficiently and accurately.
- Learning to identify and prevent costly errors through checks and record-keeping.
- Liaising with site teams and client engineers to build strong relationships.
- Developing technical knowledge while applying practical skills on live projects.
Requirements:
- Good standard of GCSEs and A Levels.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, analytical, and eager to learn.
- Passionate about a long-term career in construction and engineering.
- Excellent attention to detail.
