I joined the Prince’s Trust when I heard that MV Kelly were helping with the sponsorship, and that there was a possibility they were looking for apprentices in groundworks. It was a career that interested me, but I had found it difficult to break into. I worked hard on the tasks set by the Prince’s Trust, which was recognised by MV Kelly who then put me forward for an apprenticeship in Groundworks. I passed the interview and was accepted onto the apprenticeship, which I started last September, I have really enjoyed my time here developing new skills and working with my gang . The Prince’s Trust helped me develop my confidence, people skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
