Please read the below before calling the insurance company using the number provided.
- Stop immediately in a safe position, stay calm and exit the vehicle when safe to do so, away from traffic.
- Call the emergency services if required.
- Get the name, address, telephone number, vehicle registration and insurance details of anyone else involved.
- Get the name, address and telephone number of any witnesses.
- Take pictures of the location from several different angles and capture any damage to vehicles or property.
- Do not admit liability.
- Give your name, registered company name; M.V. Kelly Ltd, Insurer name; QBE (UK) Ltd and policy number (below).
- Report the incident directly to QBE whilst still at the scene using the number below, and then to your line manager and the Fleet office.
- Record the incident in as much detail as you can (i.e. approximate age of other driver & passengers, sex of other driver & passengers, the position of your vehicle before the crash, the weather, the road conditions, approximate speed).
- Do not restart your journey until it is safe to do so; if there are any leaking fluids or steering, suspension or lights damage ensure you contact the Fleet Department before attempting to drive. If the vehicle is undrivable – you MUST remain with it until the recovery service arrives.
